Every workshop no matter what they build, service or sell has to have a shop truck … Autumn Concepts is no different.

We needed a truck to pickup engines, diffs, gearbox’s and parts as necessary. But what to buy and why. We love our Toyotas but we love our old hot rods and customs too. In the end we started hunting down a RK101 Toyota stout as a base for…

You meet your customers in some random places and situations but occasionally the guy you want to buy parts off becomes one of your best customers and now good friend. Such is the case with the owner of this car. I was trying to source an exhaust for my newly build AE86 when a friend of mine put me in touch. I promptly contacted the owner and headed over…

Panda has been a good friend for a very long time, and for as long as I have known him he has always driven a raft of Japanese sports car, always modified in his own unique was and always sitting as low as he could wind the suspension down.

So when PANDA came to me with the idea of finally updating to a newer car it had to be low,…

Time to bathe in the stockness…

A few weeks ago I posted on AE86 Driving Club forum looking for standard driveline components. I was after an engine, gearbox and diff. Tonight I started to hand sand the interior.

A while ago the interior was stripped of the sound deadening material and given a coat of etch primer and then hi-fill primer.

To apply a coat of paint to the interior I need to sand just enough of the hi-fill primer to create a smooth surface.

400 grit dry sandpaper and lots of elbow grease…

After 2 solid hours of sanding I have finished…

Star Wars? In a galaxy far far away… in the year 2001… I got my licence and with it I bought my first car, a less than happy VW Golf MK 1, that ran on 3 cylinders. This fact I only found out on the freeway driving home, when it died on me … several times.  Shortly after that car I bought my second car a trusty Ford KC laser, this car never let…
